The General Overseer, Christ Apostolic Church, Arogungbogunmi, Prophet Richard Kolawole, has described the year 2021 as a very challenging year for Nigeria, warning that the ruling class should mend fences with the masses before things degenerate to an unbearable level.

Prophet Kolawole spoke at an international press conference on ‘Goshen Territory 2021,’ organised by the church in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Wednesday.

Sharing prophecies on the year 2021, he said the political class in the country would face a daunting challenge in the light of growing hardship being experienced by the masses.

In the same vein, he said that the Peoples Democratic Party may witness most challenging crisis ever stemming from the lingering conflict between Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and a former governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose.
According to him, the lingering crisis between Makinde and Fayose may tear the PDP apart if not addressed on time.

The prophet said, “The Lord told me about Nigeria. There will be increase in kidnapping and armed banditry. The youth will engage in a lot of criminality that will throw everyone into confusion because the government has not found solution to unemployment.

“The Lord says He is ready to visit the house of God because a lot of ministers of God that refused to say the truth will die or suffer serious ailments that will stop them from appearing before the church.

“Politicians should run back home now and mend their ways to make the people happy because the people will rebel and many of them would not be able to return to Abuja when they visit their constituencies. The Lord says the refusal of this government to put an end to killings of innocent people will seize peace in the land.

“The Lord says if care is not taken, the battle between Seyi Makinde and Fayose will consume the Peoples Democratic Party. There is a silent gang up against Makinde by both the PDP and the All Progressives Party. The people of Oyo State should pray for the Oyo State governor.

“Both the PDP and APC are trying to reunite to remove Makinde. These people are working everyday to make sure they unseat him. Everybody should be praying for Seyi Makinde to finish well because these people are trying hard and they have vowed to remove him. The governor should also put his house in order to make sure that the problem is over.”

He urged the congregation, as well as other believers the world over, to key into the 24-hour praise organised by the church and be determined to live a holy life for divine shield against evil arrows.
