It was a major boost for Hon. Sunday Oni, House of Representatives candidate for Ibadan Northwest and Southwest Federal Constituency as the candidate for the race in the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Hon. Chuckwudi Eziala, a.k.a Olorunwa, collapsed his structure with a promise to support Oni’s candidature.
Eziala premised his decision on what he described as Oni’s “genuineness of purpose to represent the good people of Ibadan Northwest and Southwest federal constituency.”
Eziala spoke during a meeting held in the federal constituency on Thursday, saying, “I hereby step down and collapse my entire structure in Ibadan Northwest and Southwest for Sunday Oni and the entire Labour Party to ensure his victory at the poll. He is a credible candidate with genuine intention to serve as the representative of the people.
“We stand by you, we shall win with you.”
According to him, Sunday Oni is a formidable candidate who’s manifestoes resonate so well with the yearning and aspirations of the common man on the street.
He promised to deliver for Sunday Oni and the Labour Party in the coming elections.
