A first class king in Oyo State, Oba Adekunle Salawudeen, the Aseyin of Iseyin, has passed on.
The report of the passage of the monarch was broken by a family sources who pleaded anonymity.
The Aseyin was said to have breathed his last on Sunday.
The king is the fourth senior traditional rulers in Oyo State to have rested after the exit of the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Ajagungbade Oyewumi, on December 2021; the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji, in January; and the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, April.
It was learnt that the king had been sick for some time but the actual cause of his demise was not disclosed as of the time of filing this report.
