The Oyo State Police Command has announced the re-arrest of Sunday Shodipe, the prime suspect in the serial killings in Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State.
Olugbenga Fadeyi, Police Public Relations Officer, Oyo State Command, made this disclosure in a telephone interview on Sunday.
Shodipe, after confessing to some of the killings in Akinyele, when paraded recently at the police headquarters, reportedly escaped from the police custody on August 11.
He was, however, re-arrested at his grandma’s place at the Ojoo area of Ibadan.
