A top level management staff [names withheld] of one of the research institutes in Oyo State is enmeshed in scandal bothering on certificate forgery.
The management staff, currently angling for a powerful directorate position in the institute is said to have packaged himself for the envisaged position with forged certificates of attendance of various conferences relating to the exalted position.
It was gathered that attendance of those conferences is a major criteria of consideration for the plum position.
Other contenders for the position are said to be spoiling for a showdown with the authority of the institute should it go ahead to give the position to the embattled staff without addressing their grievances.
