The Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Council, has expressed deep condolences to the NUJ Chairman in Oyo State, Chief Ademola Babalola, on the loss of his mother.
In a statement issued by Mr. Raji Adebayo, Chairman of the Correspondents’ Chapel, shared with journalists by the Chapel’s Secretary, Dare Adeogodiran, the Chapel conveyed its sorrow over the news.
The statement read, “We received the news of your mother’s passing with great shock and sadness. She was a person who embodied love, care, and selflessness, and her legacy will continue to be a guiding light for you and your family.
“As journalists, we recognize the profound role family plays in our lives and careers. Your mother’s influence on your journey is evident, and we hope her memories remain a source of strength and inspiration for you.”
The Chapel expressed solidarity with Chief Babalola, praying that he and his family find comfort in this difficult time.
