The dualisation of the Ila Orangun township road, along with the second phase of the Osogbo–Ikirun–Ila Odo (Kwara State boundary) highway project, would be flagged off soon, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, has indicated.
This was revealed in a statement issued over the weekend by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed.

Governor Adeleke restated his administration’s commitment to infrastructure development, highlighting ongoing efforts to deliver impactful projects across the state.
He explained that the flag-off ceremony would take place in Ila Orangun and also cover communities in Ifelodun and Odo Otin Local Government Areas.
“This is part of our commitment to fulfill our promises to the people,” he said.
He noted that Osun State has received commendations from both national and international bodies for its progress under his leadership, citing reports from federal agencies and non-governmental organizations which have rated the state highly across various developmental indices.
Adeleke said, “Our extraordinary performance in less than three years has unsettled our critics. Their resort to name-calling, blackmail, and misinformation will not distract us. We remain focused on delivering good governance.”
The governor also emphasized his administration’s achievements in infrastructure, healthcare, education, digital economy, agriculture, sports, business development, water supply, and cooperative empowerment, noting that several awards and recognitions have validated these successes.
“Our achievements are visible and verifiable. They have been acknowledged by patriots, advocates of true development, friends, and even foes,” he added.
