A private radio station in Ilese-Ijebu, Ogun State, Eagle 102.5 FM, made a brilliant showing at the 2024 Primus Broadcast Media Awards held in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, recently as it won five prestigious awards at an event which was graced by leading personalities in the media industry.
The awards, garnered at the event, affirms the station’s soaring influence as a leader in the broadcast sector.
A staff of the station, named Sodiq Ademola, attracted a loud ovation by bagging multiple awards, including the prestigious Presenter of the Year.
In all, Ademola coasted home with four different awards, underscoring his versatility and talent. He clinched the Best Political Presenter award in reference to his insightful and balanced delivery of political content.
He won the award as the Funniest On-Air Personality in acknowledgement of his unique blend of humor and engaging content that resonates deeply with listeners.
He was adjudged as the Most Creative Presenter in view of his innovative approach to radio programming and content delivery. Ademola was named Presenter of the Year, a title that climaxed his contributions to the broadcasting world.
Also, Phoebe Gladys of Eagle FM Ilese-Ijebu won the Most Impactful Presenter award category in recognition of her outstanding storytelling and ability to drive meaningful conversations via her radio show.
Asiwaju Kunle Kalejaye (SAN), Chairman of Eagle 102.5 FM Ilese-Ijebu, expressed high sense of pride in the staff of the station with special references to the award winners.
