The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibadan Zonal Command says it arrested 37 suspected internet fraudsters.
The suspects were arrested at different times, on Friday, in Ibadan and Oyo town following intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet fraud.
The suspects include Kehinde Ayoola, Adewale Samson, Adeniran Ayobami, Abiodun Olamide, Olaoye Bolarinwa, Ajibade Ayodeji, Babalola David, Fatunbi Oludotun, Abdusalam Ololade, Taiwo Olaoluwa and Oyewole Fred.
Others are Akinboade Jimmy, Oyewole Samod, Ishola Labayo, Ayinde Ridwan, Oladokun Akolade, Adebayo Basit, Adebayo Kudus, Popoola Ayomide, Oladoja Peter, Olakunbi Ayodeji, Khalid Mohammed, Salimon Sodiq and Oparemi James.
Wilson Uwujaren, Head, Media and Publicity, said that the suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
