Unconfirmed information linked the fire incident that gutted the Soka, Ibadan building to suspected arsonists.

The fire outbreak that reportedly occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, damaged parts of the property.

Valuables worth millions of naira were said to have been destroyed by the fire whose source could not be immediately ascertained.

The fire incident occurred few hours after the South-West governors’ meeting held in Akure, the Ondo State capital in respect of the quit notice given to uncaptured Fulani herdsmen in the Ondo State forest, a fall out of which is generating reactions across the country.

It was gathered that fire fighters from the Oyo State Fire Service arrived at the scene few hours after to douse the fire.

No statement has been obtained from Sunday Igboho on the incident.

Details later.
