The suspects who were paraded in connection with the crime are Taoreed Hamsat a.k.a Shorlex, 26; Tajudeen Ibrahim a.k.a Aji. 40; Moshood Fatai a.k.a Elewure, 39 years and Musibau Abubakar a.k.a Stainless, 21 years.

Other are Sikiru Aliu a.k.a 1414, 25; Fasasi Fatai a.k.a Lemon, 24;  Isiaka Olaniyi, 32 years; Raheem Toheeb and Adeleke Akeem, 42 years.

While Taoreed Hamzat confessed that he had a stolen generator in his possession some other denied involvement in the crime.
According to the CP, some of the policemen were roasted like goats by their attackers.

He said six persons, who were arrested in Ogbomoso during the EndSARS violence in the town had been charged to court.

The CP said the police were still on the trail of other suspected hoodlums in connection with looting, killing and arson in the state.

These elements, Enwonwu said, would be arrested and brought to justice very soon.
He said, “Six police officers were gruesomely murdered, divisional police headquarters and police patrol vehicles were burnt down.

“Exhibits that were looted in the exhibits room with many police arms and ammunition carted away due to activities of criminal elements who capitalised on the protest to perpetrate heinous crimes.

“The Oyo State Police Command has arrested no fewer than nine suspected arsonists and looters for allegedly attacking the Divisional Police headquarters, Iseyin on Thursday, October 22 and thereafter, setting the station ablaze under the pretext of #EndSARS protests that lingered for so many days.

“Upon interrogation, the suspects confessed to the crime and also gave useful information that will lead to the arrest of other hoodlums who participated in the criminal activities. Effort is on to arrest other fleeing suspects.”

The CP commended the local security men and residents of the state for their efforts in warding off arsonists who attempted to burn down police stations in their areas.
