The Chairman, Oyo State Housing Corporation, Bayo Lawal, on Wednesday expressed appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde on the promotion of some staff of the corporation, describing the gesture as well directed.
The promotion, according to the management of Housing, addressed the plight of the staff of the corporation who had suffered stagnation in their career progression for many years.
The Chairman, while addressing the elated staff on the release of their promotion letters, said that the governor had continued to endear himself to both the public servants and the residents of the state.
He noted in a statement signed by Kunle Sanni, Director, Information and Public Relations of the corporation that the effect of the promotion would, in turn, be felt by the entire citizenry one way or the other, just as “the impetus would re-energize the workforce for service delivery.”
Lawal was quoted in the statement as urging the workers of the corporation to reciprocate government’s gesture by improving on their productivity while assuring the governor of maximum cooperation of the workforce.
