Pere Egbi, Nollywood Actor and Big Brother Naija ‘shine ya eyes’ finalist, has denied the rumor doing the round on social media that he and the wife of the Kogi State Governor, Rashida Yahaya Bello, are dating.

Against the wild allegation, the actor said that he had nothing to do with the First Lady of Kogi State.

However, Jackson Ude, in a tweet that went viral, queried why the reality TVshow star was all over places with Rashida Yahaya Bello.

In a tweet which had been deleted, Ude alleged that according to the gist doing the round, Rashida sometimes gifted N5 million to Egbi during their first meeting.

The tweet was quoted as raising concern that “Why is #BBNaija Pere Egbi all over the place with Kogi First Lady, Rashida Bello?

“Gist around Abuja says that they are lovers. Egbi and Mrs Bello are said to have been sighted severally at the Hilton Hotel, Abuja. The gist is that when they first met, First Lady gifted Egbi N5 million.”

Egbi, however, denied the allegation and threatened legal action against the journalist who made the publication.

He described the publication as a demonic lie and a figment of a diseased imagination of the writer.

He was quoted as saying that “For the records, the publication about me and the First Lady of Kogi State is a demonic lie and a figment of a diseased imagination of Jackson Ode and those retweeting that rubbish.

“They must answer me in court both in Nigeria and in the United States of America where he is based.”

Recently, tongues wagged as the Kogi First Lady rewarded her domestic staff with N1million each.
