Findings have shown that hunters in Akinyele area of Ibadan have arrested a man whose identity had yet to be disclosed to members of the public.
The yet-to-be-identified suspect was said to be in possession of dangerous weapons like knife and an axe.
It was learnt that the suspected hoodlum was arrested at Liberty area in Sasa community, Ibadan on Sunday.
The suspect is being interrogated by the Ojoo Police Division.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Oyo State Police Command, Olugbenga Fadeyi, who confirmed the arrest, said the identity of the suspect and his accomplices would soon be revealed after investigation.
Oyo Reporters gathered that the suspect, who is terrorising the community, is from the East.
According to findings, he was arrested at Sasa community by the Soludero hunters while attempting to kill a woman.
The police said he confessed that he had been involved in killings of eight people.
At least, five people had been killed in the local government since June 1 by suspected ritual killers.
