Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide: Eruobodo becomes General Secretary as group restructures Central Executive Council

The Central Executive Council of the umbrella body of the Yoruba Self-Determination Groups, Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, has been restructured.

The indication was given in a statement dated Friday, February 18, signed by Maxwell Adeleye, Publicity Secretary, Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide.

The members of the newly restructured Executive Council, ratified by the Congress of the self-determination movement, are Prof. Banji Akintoye, the Alana/ President-General; Prof. Wale Adeniran as the Deputy Alana; Prince Kunle Adelakun, (Eruobodo)  General-Secretary, and Dr. Kayode Akinwande as the Assistant General Secretary. 

Adelakun, a.k.a Eruobodo is the National Coordinator of Agbekoya Warrior.

Maxwell Adeleye remains the Publicity Secretary of the group, while Olubisola Adeniyan is Financial Secretary, Muda Ogunsola is the Treasurer, while Olasupo Ojo and Oladapo Kayode are the Legal Adviser and the Assistant Legal Adviser respectively. 

Other members of the executive council are Bola Egbinade Sanda, Welfare Officer; Dr. Akin Adejuwon, Art, Culture and Empowerment Officer;  S. Lawal, Mobilization Officer; Sheikh Aduranigba – Religion Representative (Islam); Prophet Joseph Gegeoju, Religion Representative (Christian); Iyalode Ajoke Ojeleye, Women Representative 1; Femi Oluwajuyitan, Youth Representative 1; and Makanjuola Adigun as the Sports and Entertainment Officer. 

The structure also comprise the Ex-Officios, the Accredited State Coordinators in Homeland and the Accredited Diaspora Coordinators.
