A suspected kidnapper was, on Friday, arrested by men of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Oyo State Command.
Lekan Raheem, 29, was arrested in Ibadan after a tip off to the state headquarters of NIS by members of the public.
Olufemi Adetunji, who is the Public Relations Officer, NIS, Oyo State Command, broke the news while addressing journalists at the Command’s headquarters, on Friday.
He stated that some commercial motorcyclists in the area hinted the command of the suspect’s activities.
Adetunji, who disclosed that he had since been handed over to the police, stated that “The suspect said he was involved in duping and kidnapping people, and selling of human parts to ritualists.
“The suspect claimed that he lived around Beere, Oje area of Ibadan and worked with a gang of hoodlums comprising two females and seven males.
The suspect disclosed, “We have decided to hand over the suspect to the police for further investigation. We have a Micra car that we use for the operation.
“We buy biscuits and other things inside the car to lure children. Anytime we see lonely little children, we entice them with biscuits and quickly put them inside the car and zoom off.
“We kill any child that we are able to kidnap and sell their parts to ritualists.”
