Hakeem Odumosu, Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, has paid a condolence visit to the family of late Monsurat Ojuade, the lady who was hit by a stray bullet fired by a police officer at Ijeshatedo on September 11.
Odumosu, accompanied by top members of the Command, expressed condolence to the bereaved family on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, Alkali Baba Usman; officers and men of the Command
Expressing regret on the incident, Odumosu prayed for the repose of the deceased and called that God should grant the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the loss.
The CP, presenting a letter of condolence to the family, reassured them that justice would be served in the matter.
He disclosed that the culprit, Sgt. Samuel Phillips, had been arrested and was facing orderly room trial.
