There are clear indications that the detained Yoruba nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, a.k.a Sunday Igboho, would soon be released from detention in Benin Republic.
Pelumi Olajengbesi, one of his counsels, gave the indication, on Saturday, through a post on his Facebook page.
Olajengbesi blamed Yoruba leaders, accusing some of them of being selfish even as he expressed optimism on his ‘imminent release’.
The counsel wrote, “Chief Sunday Igboho will be out very soon and there will be massive jubilation across the entire Yorubaland.
“He is, no doubt, a courageous man. This is very authoritative. Just that our Yoruba leaders should stop being selfish and allow good to prevail.”
Igboho has been in Benin Republic detention since his arrest at the Cotonou Airport in July 2021.
