It was a vibrant atmosphere of worship, faith and divine encounters during the 2024 Christmas Outreach organized by The Beautiful Temple of God International Ministry.
The event, held on Thursday, December 19, at the church premises in Ajadi, Ologuneru via Eleyele, Ibadan, Oyo State, drew a large crowd eager to experience God’s blessings and healing power.
Expressing gratitude for the continued success of the annual programme, which began seven years ago, Evangelist Ogunjale Shekinah Ayodele Oluwalonimi, noted the overwhelming turnout.
“We had over 450 adults, over 150 teenagers, and over 200 children in attendance. Altogether, we had no fewer than 900 people,” she said. Attendees were treated to food items and gifts, spreading joy and gratitude among the congregation.
Evangelist Ogunjale urged Nigerians to place their trust in God, live holy lives, and remain prayerful. She also emphasized the importance of government investment in agriculture to address food security challenges.
Citing John 6:35, she reminded attendees, “Jesus is the bread of life. I encourage you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior.” She further referenced Philippians 4, urging Christians to anchor their faith in God for sustenance and hope.
Reverend Arohundara also delivered a powerful message, encouraging the congregation to trust God wholeheartedly. “Jesus is knocking on the door of your life; open it to Him,” he said.
Rev. Arohundara assured the attendees that their long-standing prayers would be answered and warned against trying to manipulate God’s grace. “You can’t take advantage of Jesus Christ; instead, surrender fully to Him. He is ready to transform your life and take you to greater heights.”
Sharing personal experiences, Reverend Arohundara recounted how obeying God’s call to relocate to Ibadan and minister brought unexpected blessings. “When God called me to Ibadan, my father worried, but I trusted God. He has since shown up for me in amazing ways. Remember, you don’t need a relative abroad or someone influential to elevate you; Jesus is already at the top and can take you there,” he said.
The testimony session was another highlight of the service. Congregants shared awe-inspiring stories of God’s miraculous interventions.
A woman who faced years of delay in childbirth after an abortion testified to conceiving through the power of prayer. She used the opportunity to discourage the youth from engaging in abortion, stressing its spiritual and emotional consequences.
Others testified about breakthroughs in their lives, including financial blessings, job opportunities, and divine healing, attributing these to the altar of prayer at The Beautiful Temple of God.
Recipients of the food and gift items were filled with joy and gratitude, praying for the church, its donors, and Evangelist Ogunjale. Many expressed relief that their needs were met during the Christmas season, acknowledging that God’s mercy had touched their lives in profound ways.
The event reinforced the ministry’s commitment to spreading hope, faith, and generosity in a time when many are in need, leaving attendees spiritually uplifted and filled with thanksgiving.
