During the commission’s visit to NOA on Tuesday, the Chairman of OYSIEC, Isiak Olagunju, called for the agency’s support in the area of publicity as part of the drive for a free, fair and credible election.

The OYSIEC Chairman, while stressing the commission’s readiness to be impartial, urged political parties to be confident that the election process would not be undermined.

In her remarks, the state Director of NOA, Mrs Dolapo Dosunmu, stressed the importance of sensitisation in building the confidence of the people preparatory to the coming election.

She said, “We are going to work with you to make sure that the mandate of the commission comes to a reality.”

Among those who were present during the visit were members of OYSIEC as well as officials of NOA.
