Lawmakers in the Ogun State House of Assembly have impeached Olakunle Oluomo as the Speaker.
Oluomo was reportedly removed from office during the plenary held at the assembly complex on Tuesday.
The sacked Speaker is a third-term lawmaker representing Ifo State Constituency II.
Oludaisi Elemide, also a third-term lawmaker representing Odeda State constituency, was named as the new Speaker.
