Security operatives have released activist Omoyele Sowore after being arrested at the premises of the Court of Appeal in Abuja.
Sowore was arrested and detained by the police following a petition written by Ned Nwoko, a former member of House of Representatives.
He confirmed his release from the office of former SARS located at Guzape district in the federal capital territory.
“Released from Nigeria Police Force idiotic arrest and detention.
“They claimed I defamed Ned Nwoko! Useless people,” Sowore’s tweet read.
