The fifth anniversary of the Oodua Heritage International Organisation is billed to hold on Sunday, October 15.
The indication was given in a statement made available to journalists by the founder and the president of the organisation, Otun Balogun Abiodun Adewale Kuku, and Erelu Bolanle Amoke Kuku (Olisa Obaobinrin).
Oodua Heritage International Organization (OHIO), a socio-cultural, non governmental organization, was founded in 2018 by Erelu Amoke Kuku, in conjunction with Otun Balogun Adewale Kuku.
Registered in Nigeria and the Diaspora in 2019 with significant presence in the USA, United Kingdom, France, Gambia, Mauritania, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, South Africa, Ghana, Spain, Brazil, among others, the organization is targeted towards promoting unity among the Oodua descendants globally. Among the important personalities that are billed to grace the occasion are the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi; the Alaketu of Ketu, Oba Adebowale Ajibade, Orimadegun I; the Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams; the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun, King Saheed Osupa and Musiliu Haruna Ishola.
