The Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, is billed to undergo a leg surgery.
He was said to have visited the hospital on Saturday on the account of persistent pain in the leg.
The leg injury was reportedly sustained while playing squash.
Laolu Akande, Media Aide to the VP, said in a two-paragraph-statement that his doctors would give an update on the treatment later on Saturday.
