The Chairman, House of Assembly Service Commission, AbdulWasi Musah, presented the Newsletter to the lawmakers at the floor of the House.

The Speaker said necessary facilities were being put in place to ensure live streaming of the plenaries in line with the resolve of the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly to do things differently.

He said, “The live streaming is meant to truly showcase the Oyo State House of Assembly as the pacesetter in the country.

“When fully operational, many states of the federation will learn a lot from us and it will be a further testament to the fact that we are House of innovation. Every necessary thing is being put in place towards the commencement of the live streaming.”

He lauded the Oyo Assembly Service Commission for coming up with a quarterly Newsletter to showcase the activities of the Commission and described its Chairman, AbdulWasi Musah, as a resilient and dynamic adminstrator.

In his remarks shortly before presenting the magazine to the Speaker, Musah said the it was introduced to periodically highlight  the landmark achievements of both the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly and the Commission; promote management-staff relationship; and showcase  productivity, welfare and progress of the staff, appointments, promotions, transfers, capacity building and conversions.

Musah commended the leadership of the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly for working harmoniously with the Commission towards achieving its set goals.

Other issues discussed at the presentation ceremony were welfare of staff of House of Assembly and that of the Commission as well as amendment of some laws relating to the House of Assembly and the commission.
