The Oyo State Police Command has said that Mrs Jumoke Babalola-Oludele, the kidnapped sister of Sunkammi Babalola, a state lawmaker in the Oyo State House of Assembly, has regained her freedom from kidnappers.
Babalola-Oludele, whose brother represents Egbeda State constituency, was abducted on Monday, December 21, 2020.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Olugbenga Fadeyi, said on Saturday that “Two suspects were arrested in connection with the abduction of sister of Oyo lawmaker who has regained her freedom and are currently being investigated, please.”
Brother to the abducted lady said that no ransom was paid for the release of her sister.
He said, “I want to inform you that my sister has been freed. She regained freedom this morning, around 6am. But, no ransom was paid.”
