The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company Plc. has expressed joy to Muslims across the country, including other Nigerians on the occasion of the Eid-El-Kabir.
The Managing Director of the electricity distribution company, Kingsley Achife, emphasized in a statement that Eid-El-Kabir epitomizes values of love and sacrifice, which are fundamental to human existence and progress.
In the statement, Achife urged Muslim faithful and other citizens to imbibe the spirit of love for the prosperity of Nigeria.
It read that the technical crew of the company was on standby to resolve faults that may arise during the festive period.
“To ensure a seamless customer experience, the customer care line will remain active to respond to complaints and reports efficiently,” it read in parts.
It urged consumers against engaging unqualified persons to fix electrical faults in their homes and workplaces while also emphasizing the importance of earthing their premises.
The statement warned that tampering with electrical installations is not only illegal but also dangerous, stressing that it could lead to an accident. It also appealed to motorists to refrain from driving under the influence of alcohol observe traffic rules to avoid collisions with electrical poles.
It advised customers to take advantage of IBEDC’s hassle-free payment channels to settle their bills and purchase electricity units in a bid to avoid disconnection.
“The latest addition to these convenient payment channels is the IBEDC Care payment app, available for both Android and iOS users. Other vending platforms include Quickteller, Payarena, Jumia, Watu, Buypower, and ATM.
