The Senator representing Oyo South District at the National Assembly, Sharafadeen Alli, has congratulated Chief Akin Oke, former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in the state.
The lawmaker, in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr Akeem Abas, on Wednesday in Ibadan, described the celebrant as a prominent figure who played crucial role in the growth and development of the party in Oyo State.
The statement read that Oke’s leadership and dedication were instrumental to the advancement of the party’s agenda, including fostering of unity among party members.
It acknowledged Oke’s commitment to the principles of democracy, justice and good governance.
The statement lauded his exceptional leadership qualities and contributions to the political landscape of Oyo State, even as the lawmaker wished him good health, happiness and success in his endeavours.
