The representative of Oyo South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Sharafadeen Alli, has rejoiced with Alhaji Aderibigbe Omilabu Ghandi, a member of the Providence Coalition, on his birth anniversary.
This was announced in a statement signed by Akeem Abas, Special Adviser to Alli on Media, on Saturday in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The statement by Alli, Senate Committee Chairman on the Independent National Electoral Commission, read that Ghandi’s contributions to the political landscape of Oyo State could not be overemphasized.
The statement stressed that Ghandi had shown himself as a leader of high repute as well as a staunch advocate of good governance and the rule of law.
It added that the celebrant had demonstrated unwavering commitment to the ideals of democracy, justice and equity.
Stating that the party was privileged to have such a man in the party, it read that “We acknowledge your contributions to the development of our nation and your dedication to making positive difference in the lives of compatriots.
“We join other well-meaning Nigerians in expressing our admiration to the celebrant. We pray that the Almighty grant him many more years of good health, happiness and fulfilment.
“As we join him in this momentous occasion, we wish him all the best in life, including good health and prosperity in the years ahead.”
