Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has lauded Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State over the approval of the rehabilitation of the 45.3 kilometre Saki-Igboho Road project in Oke-Ogun area of the state.
The approval of the road project by the State Executive Council was announced earlier in the week.
Adeyemo, an Ibadan-based businessman, in a statement on Thursday, said the efforts of the Seyi Makinde-led administration was noteworthy adding that it portrayed the governor as a man of his words.
The statement read that Makinde had largely fulfilled his campaign promises, adding “I am very sure that when the rehabilitation work on the road is completed it would boost the economic ties between the two towns especially in the area of agriculture.
“I want to thank the governor and the entire members of the state executive council for considering the rehabilitation of the road. I am very sure that the people of Igboho and Saki, who are the direct beneficiaries would make judicious use of it.”
