The Soka, Ibadan residence of the Yoruba self-determination agitator, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, a.k.a Igboho, has reportedly been attacked by unknown gunmen.
The incident happened months after the reported midnight attack on one of his residences at Soka area of the city.
The early Thursday attacks came hours to the planned Lagos rally.
One of his media aides, Dapo Salami, who confirmed the attacks to our correspondent, said, “The residence was attacked early this (Thursday) morning.
He, however, added that he was on his way to the property to see things for himself.
Salami said, “Yes, I was told his house was attacked but he is fine. I am on my way there now to see what happened.”
The Police Public Relations Officer in Oyo State, Adewale Osifeso, when contacted said he also heard of it but would find out to get the details of what happened.
Our correspondent gathered that the house was invaded around 2am on Thursday and cars and walls of the property were riddled with bullets.
Some of the occupants of the house were said to have been whisked away by the invaders who were alleged to have dressed in military camouflage.
In April, his Soka residence was also attacked and the latest attack is coming just two days to the Yoruba Nation rally which Igboho is billed to attend in Lagos.
