The Teaching Service Commission in Oyo State has indicated its resolve to conduct computer-based test for candidates who applied for teaching appointment, beginning from Tuesday, August 11.

The state Chairman of TESCOM, Pastor Akinade Alamu, gave the indication on Fresh 105.9FM, on Thursday.

He said the examination would run through the week from 7am till 6pm except on Sunday, adding that those who are unable to upload their credentials to TESCOM’s portal before Tuesday would not write the test.

Alamu said, “The examination will be starting on Tuesday, August 11, and will run through the week till Saturday.

“They will be starting daily from 7am till 6pm and the results will be communicated to the applicants through the e-mail they put in their registration and through SMS.

“No applicant’s complaints will be attended to at the CBT centres. If anybody has complaints, let them come to the TESCOM office, we wish them the best in the examination.”

The TESCOM chairman said the private schools should consult with stakeholders before a decision is taken, adding that they should be considerate with parents who were equally affected by the pandemic.
