A presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has said that he remains unshaken and confident that he would emerge as the APC standard bearer in the 2023 election.
Tinubu, who doubles as the National Leader of the party, is in the race with more than 20 other aspirants.
In his speech in Jalingo, Taraba State after an interface with delegates of the party, Tinubu stated that his chances of winning the presidential ticket were very high.
He said, “My chances of winning the ticket are incredibly high and I am very confident. I am sure I can and I will win it.”
Asked about the party’s consensus arrangement, Tinubu said that he preferred a democratic process, stressing that “I want democracy. I am voting for democracy. One man, one vote.”
Recall that Abdulmumin Jibrin, the Director General of Tinubu Support Group, recently announced his resolve to defect from the ruling APC into another political party soon.
