Bayo Titilola-Sodo, Special Adviser on Labour Affairs to Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, will on Wednesday feature on the monthly personality platform of the South West Group of Online Publishers.
SWEGOP is a group of online publishers in Oyo, Osun, Ondo, Ogun and Ekiti states focusing professionalism through self regulation and providing wider reach through online media outlets.
The Wednesday meeting is billed to hold by 3pm at the Development Support Centre, Iyaganku, Ibadan.
Titilola-Sodo, an activist, administrator, agriculturist,accountant and a lawyer, would be on hot seat at a meeting with the media proprietors who would engage him particularly on the activities and achievements of Governor Seyi Makinde in the last three years.
Titilola-Sodo, aged 61, attended Wesley School, Mamu Ijebu; Agbeni Methodist School, Ibadan; Ibadan Grammar School and Irepo Grammar School, Igboho where he sat for his West Africa School Certificate Examination in 1979.
He later proceeded to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka the same year and graduated with honors in Crop Science. He then joined the Oyo State Local Government Service in 1990 as an Agricultural Officer.
Titilayo-Sodo later attended the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife for a Postgraduate in Local Government Administration and Master of Business Administration.
He attended the Nigeria College of Accountancy and converted to the Accountant cadre. He qualified as a Certified National Accountant and later obtained an LLB at Law and was called to bar in 2020.
He rose through the rank and retired as a Permanent Secretary in 2020 at age 60.
He was the state President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees in 2013 and also served as the State Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress till 2020.
Titilola-Sodo, a lover of music, takes delight in reading and traveling. He is married with three children.
