Tragedy: Trailer crushes 4 to death in Ibadan

 A commercial motorcyclist and three other persons were, on Wednesday, crushed to death at Alesinloye area of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital as a truck belonging to a popular dairy company lost control.

The three other casualties were females.

Eyewitnesses said the commercial motorcyclist died on the spot while the others passed on before getting to the hospital.

It was gathered that the incident occured at the Alesinloye roundabout, along Dugbe Road, due to brake failure.

Mrs Chukwurah Uche, Sector Commander, FRSC in Oyo, said, “Yes, we lost four; one male, three females. The truck that caused the crash did not block the road. 

“Traffic has been flowing freely. We suspect break failure.”
