All is set for the third edition of the Akeem Kareem Foundation Lecture scheduled to hold on Thursday, March 17, at the Jogor Events Center, Liberty Road, Ibadan, Oyo State.
This year’s edition of the event, which is billed to start by 11am, would also include the maiden Award of Excellence.
The symposium titled, ‘Soro-Soke Generation: 2023 and the way to go,’ will have Segun Ogunwuyi, Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde, as keynote lecturer, while Prof. Adeolu Akande, Executive Chairman, Nigerian Communications Commission, as the event’s Chairman, with Oba Lekan Balogun as the Special Guest of Honour.
Ajibola Famurewa, the Executive Chairman, Osun SUBEB would be the Distinguished Guest of Honour, with the Olowu of Owu Kuta, Oba Adekunle Oyelude Makama, as one of the dignitaries and Dr Yinka Ayefele, Chairman/CEO, FreshFM Nigeria, as the Chief Host of the event.
The symposium, which would be moderated by Prof. Olu Ojedokun of the Department of Political Science, Lead City University, Ibadan would have Shina Peller, Founder, Lead Generation Initiative; Dr Abd Wasi Musah, former Deputy Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly; Dr Mutiu Agboke, Resident Electoral Commissioner, INEC, Oyo State; Mrs Bolanle Sarumi Alliyu; Senior Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Diaspora Matters, Sikiru Sanda; Chairman, Egbeda Local Government and Chairman, Oyo State ALGON, Teju Ajibowo Publicity Secretary, African Action Congress, Oyo State, Mrs Yemi Taiwo Alabi, journalist, farmer, entrepreneur and values advocate, as the following as discussants and participants on the occasion.
