Governorship candidates of the Social Democratic Party, Segun Oni, and Bisi Kolawole, his Peoples Democratic Party counterpart in the Saturday, June 18 governorship election in Ekiti State, have reportedly won in their respective polling units.
Oni of the SDP polled a total of 218 votes at his Unit 6, Ward 4, Ogbon Iro in Ifaki Ekiti, to beat the APC candidate who polled 15 just as the PDP got 2 votes.
Kolawole also won in his Ward 8, Unit 1, Efon Alaye, in Efon Local Government Area with 98 votes while the APC candidate, Biodun Oyebanji, polled a total of 13 votes, Labour Party got 1 vote, while SDP got 2 votes.
Of the total 116 vote cast, there were two void votes.
Meanwhile, Senator Biodun Olujimi (Ekiti South) reportedly lost at her Ward 07, Unit 07, Wesley United Primary School in Ekiti East Council Area.
The APC polled a total of 141 votes while the PDP and SDP garnered 110 and 46 votes respectively.
At unit 32, Ward 09, Olorunsogo area, Ado-Ekiti, SDP scored 105 votes while APC, PDP ADP, ADC, APP and YPP polled 56, 13, 5, 1, 3 and 1 respectively.
