Excitement as Sen. Alli donates computers, solar inverters, furniture to schools

Sen. Sharafadeen Alli, representing Oyo South District at the National Assembly, has donated computer sets, power generating set, solar panels/inverters and some furniture to schools within his district.

The disclosure was made in a statement signed and made available to journalists on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas.

The statement read that Ansar-ud-deen High School I, Oke-Ado, Ibadan in Ibadan South-West Local Government Area and Methodist Grammar School in Sagaun, Igboora in Ibarapa Central Local Government Area were the beneficiaries of this donation.

It read that with the donation, “The schools would have access to modern technology, enabling better learning opportunities for the students.”

While expressing his excitement, the Principal of Ansar-ud-deen High School, Ibadan, Alhaji Saheed Ayinde, expressed appreciation to the lawmaker for the gesture. 

The Principal was quoted as saying, “On Saturday, we received 15 computer sets, a power generating set, solar panels and inverters as well as furnitures.

“We are highly appreciative of this gesture from him. We pray that Almighty Allah will grant him long life, sound health and grace to achieve more in life.”

Mr. Taofeek Adekanmbi, the Vice-Principal of Methodist Grammar School, Igboora, commended Alli for his humility, humanity and dedication to serving his people and the nation. 

“Senator Sharafadeen Alli was my senior in the secondary school. I have and will always appreciate his kind leadership. This is a great one from him.

“This gesture will greatly benefit the students, the teachers, the school and the community at large. We are very happy on this. We pray God grants him grace to serve in other capacities higher than this in the future,” he said. 

Meanwhile, Alli has pledged quality representation with reassurance of his commitment to the people of his senatorial district. 

Expressing gratitude for the confidence placed in him, hepromised to advocate for resources and initiatives that could promote learning and equip schools with modern tools.

He pledged to prioritize the needs of his constituents with vigour.
