Pastor-in-charge, Gethsemane Prayer Ministeries, Victory Chapel, Ibadan, Taiwo Durosaro, stated on Sunday that God would use the current situation in the land to bring about a change in Nigeria.
The man of God spoke during the Sunday sermon titled, ‘The light and life of God.’
Making reference to John, chapter 1, verses 4 and 5, he said, “Very soon, the light of God will shine upon our situation in the country. God is re-arranging things for our good in Nigeria.
“Until God’s agenda is fully realised upon this country, the current siege on the land will not be over. The reason why coronavirus has not been phased out is that God is using the situation to make some re-arrangements to happen.
“When things are perfected, the siege will be over. Cast your minds to the revelations being made regarding the investigation of the former Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu. That’s the situation we find ourselves, but we cannot continue this way.”
He added, “There are two things that you must not be lacking in life. You must not lack life and you must not lack light. When talking about life, we are not talking about the fact that you are alive, no.
“Many are alive but dead; they are walking corpses. Some are alive but their fate regarding life and living had been determined by the spiritual wickedness.
When we talk about life, we are taking about the life of God. That is the Zoe, which is the life that only God can give. With this, the enemy will not be able to touch you and the arrow of the enemy will not hit you.
“Today, everyone is afraid of coronavirus. The question is where is the life of God in us today? We are vulnerable, but when God’s life is in you, everything will bow to God.
“But today, everyone is living normal life. When you live the normal life, normal things will happen to you. But, when you live the life of God, you will live in dominion.”
