Ibadanland will witness unprecedented growth and harmony under Oba Olakunlehin – Sen. Alli

Representative of Oyo South in the National Assembly, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, has congratulated Oba Owolabi Olakunlehin on his Installation as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland. 

Alli, who is the Maye Balogun of Ibadanland, expressed joy in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, in Ibadan on Saturday.

Describing his ascension as a milestone in the history of Ibadanland, the Senator saluted his unwavering commitment to the development and unity of the city.

The statement read that “Oba Olakunlehin has always been a pillar of strength and a beacon of wisdom in our community. His leadership qualities and dedication to the progress of Ibadanland are exemplary.” 

It quoted the Ibadan Chief as saying that he expressed confidence that Ibadanland would witness unprecedented growth and harmony under Oba Olakunlehin’s reign.

It urged the people of Ibadan to support the new traditional ruler, emphasising the importance of unity and cooperation in achieving community goals.

 “Together, we can achieve great things for Ibadanland. Let us rally around our new Olubadan and work towards a brighter future,” it added.

Senator Alli assured the new Olubadan of his unwavering support and commitment and wished Oba Olakunlehin a long and prosperous reign filled with peace and progress.

It concluded, “May the reign of Oba Olakunlehin bring enduring peace and remarkable development to Ibadanland. Congratulations, Kabiyesi. K’ade o pe lori, ki bata o pe le se, ki irukere di okinni.”
