The INCITIS_FOOD Project has developed a circular model for integrating aquaculture with plants, insects and animal production in order to improve food chain in African cities.
Dr O.O.Oyebola, Principal Investigator with INCITIS_FOOD,, UI, at the official opening of the Research and Training facilities, stated that unless vital research and developmental innovation are disseminated, they would end up as a waste.

This, he said, explained the reason for the establishment of a Living Lab where the challenge of adequate agricultural land for food production in cities is addressed.
The facility has a 40- participants capacity building outdoor training centre.
The Living Lab and all its buildings were commissioned by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic Prof. Aderonke Baiyeroju.
