Kalejaye retains position as Governing Council Chairman, Ogun Polytechnic of Health, Allied Sciences

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has approved the reappointment of Asiwaju Kunle Kalejaye, (SAN), as Chairman, Governing Council of the Ogun State Polytechnic of Health and Allied Sciences, Ilese-Ijebu.

This was announced in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi.

Asiwaju Kalejaye’s reappointment underscores the government’s confidence in the legal luminary’s leadership and commitment to advancing health education in the state.

The eminent personality is credited with spearheading key reforms and institutional growth during his first tenure. Under his leadership, the polytechnic recorded notable improvements in academic standards, infrastructure and staff welfare.

In a statement, Governor Abiodun lauded Kalejaye’s dedication to service, describing his reappointment as a step toward consolidating excellence and ensuring continuity in the institution’s administration.

The governor stated that “Asiwaju Kalejaye has demonstrated exemplary leadership and integrity in the discharge of his duties. His reappointment reflects our administration’s resolve to sustain quality education and professional training in the health sector.”


The Senior Advocate of Nigeria expressed appreciation to the governor for the renewed trust and confidence in his leadership, as he pledged to build on the progress achieved during his previous term.

He expressed commitment to focus on academic excellence, innovation and the welfare of both the staff and the students.

The Ogun State Polytechnic of Health and Allied Sciences, Ilese-Ijebu, is a foremost institutions in health education in the state, producing skilled professionals for hospitals and health agencies across the country.
