Popular Nollywood actor, Ibrahim Chatta, has been thrown into mourning following the death of his son.
The 54-year-old actor broke the sad news on Saturday via his Instagram page, where he shared a photo of the late boy but did not disclose details surrounding his passing.

In an emotional tribute, Chatta wrote, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. Ya Allah, You are the Knower of all things. Rest on, Dear son, champ.”
The announcement drew an outpouring of condolences from colleagues and fans, who flooded his comment section with words of comfort and prayers.
The tragedy comes just days after veteran actress Peju Ogunmola lost her only son, Ayomikun, in Ibadan. Ayomikun, who was in his early 30s, died earlier this week, leaving the Nollywood community in shock over the double losses.
This is not the first time Chatta is experiencing such grief. In June, the actor recalled losing his first child, a daughter, years ago.
He revealed that her death, which he attributed to financial hardship and lack of proper medical care, forced him to bury her in an old wooden Coca-Cola crate when he could not afford a coffin.
