The representative of Ibadan South East constituency II in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Ademola Popoola, has been reported dead.
Popoola, aged 46, was said to have died at the University College Hospital on Tuesday evening.
It was gathered that the state lawmaker passed on after battling kidney related disease.
Popoola, who chaired the House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, is survived by his wife and children.
A family source, who preferred anonymity, said that the deceased was billed to be flown abroad for surgery before the unfortunate incident happened.
