Senator Sharafadeen Alli from Oyo South District has celebrated elder statesman and renowned industrialist, Bashorun Kola Daisi, on the occasion of his 93rd birthday.
In a statement personally signed and released on Wednesday in Ibadan, Alli described the Bashorun of Ibadanland as a rare blessing to Ibadan, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.
The lawmaker commended Chief Daisi for his outstanding contributions to industrial development, philanthropy, and education, noting that his generosity, humility, and unwavering commitment to humanity have touched countless lives and left lasting legacies.
Alli, who also holds the traditional title of Ekarun-Balogun of Ibadanland, said the people of Ibadan and Oyo State remain proud of Chief Daisi’s vision and accomplishments, which continue to inspire younger generations toward hard work, service, and community development.
He prayed for God to grant the nonagenarian more years in good health, wisdom, and peace, while urging the youth to emulate his values of service, selflessness, and dedication to the common good.
