Acknowledging the challenges being faced by teachers particularly in developing countries, it urged that more resources be allocated to the education sector.

It also urged stakeholders to collaborate towards ensuring that teachers received deserving recognition, respect and compensation .

He lauded teachers across the globe, encouraging them to continue in their pursuit of excellence in education.
