The Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji, has reportedly passed on.
Although his passage has yet to be announced officially, sources at the palace confirmed the incident.
However, the sources preferred anonymity.
The monarch, who slept at age 93, passed away on Sunday at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The reign of Oba Adetunji, a successful businessman, was peaceful.
