AKINWALE ABOLUWADE
An alumnus of University of Ibadan, Dr Opeyemi Babatunde, has facilitated a Memorandum of Understanding on a JIGSAW-A project between Keele University and UI.
The MOU covers Grant Writing Workshop for 50 UI members of staff in June 2024, including a two-man delegation visit to Keele University in April 2024.
Babatunde, who facilitated the initiative is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Medicine, Keele University, England.
The delegation was made up of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research, Innovation and Strategic Partnerships, Prof. Oluyemisi Bamgbose, (SAN) and Dr Mobolaji Omobowale, acting HOD, Agricultural and Environmental Engineering.
They met with the two Deputy Vice- Chancellors of Keele University in charge of Research and Internationalization.
A robust relationship is expected to develop between the two universities as a result of the visit to further promote the internationalization efforts of UI.
