The Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Sharafadeen Alli, has congratulated former Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
In a statement issued by his Media Office and made available to journalists in Ibadan on Thursday, Senator Alli described Akande—a notable chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC)—as a distinguished academic, legal luminary, and patriotic statesman.
He praised Akande for his exemplary qualities of humility, brilliance, and unwavering commitment to national development. The statement highlighted Akande’s consistent efforts toward the advancement of Oyo State and Nigeria at large, noting that he has leveraged his intellect and experience to influence policies that positively shaped governance.
Senator Alli also commended Akande’s contributions to the growth and leadership of the APC, describing his role within the party as remarkable and worthy of emulation.
